Partners for the Integrity to Work on Supporting Values ​​of Transparency and Integrity in six Egyptian Ministries

 

The Arab Program begins in the first of November 2013 and over the coming two years the implementation of the Project “Partners for integrity in Administration in Egypt” funded by the United Nations Democracy Fund.

The project works to disseminate values ​​of transparency and integrity in the six Egyptian ministries; they are the ministries of Interior, Housing, Social Solidarity, Justice, Education, and Health. The project targets the service sectors in these ministries and includes number of activities such as giving training courses for official employees on the International Conventions against Corruption, convention of workshops for lawyers and journalists and representatives of civil society organizations, and the print of instructions for citizens to simplify the access to services and also includes the convention of conferences and other activities to raise the awareness on the international conventions to fight corruption.

Beside, the Project includes the re-establishment of the Egyptian Coalition “Partners for Integrity” which was established in 2010 so as to develop a plan of action to combat forms of corruption in the Egyptian ministries during the next two years.

It is worth mentioning that APHRA implemented number of activities in the field of anti-corruption and most recently the Regional Coalition of Article 20 to combat corruption.
