Forums project “Towards a new culture of civil work in Egypt.”

Arab Program for Human Rights Activists organized 14 Forums in seven Egyptian governorates and it’s title was “civil society in provinces between weak performance and the lack of diversity and specialization, towards democratic work of civil law.
The forums discussed number of themes: the role of civil society organizations in Egypt‘s modern history, the diagnosis of the state of current civil society and it’s needs, development of performance, civil society organizations and support of citizenship and national belonging and a new culture after the revolution of January.

1. First and Second Forums on May 29, 2012 at Alsaeed Association titled “Civil society between the siege and closure- to work towards a democratic civil law.”

2. Third and fourth forums on June 3, 2012 in Suez titled “Civil Society regions and provinces between poor performance and lack of diversity and specialization.”

3. 5th and 6th forums on June 19, 2012 in Alexandria, entitled “Civil Society regions and provinces between poor performance and lack of diversity and specialization.”

4. Seventh and eighth forums on June 27, 2012 in North Sinai Governorate (Al-Arish), entitled “Civil Society regions and provinces between poor performance and lack of diversity and specialization.”

5. Ninth and tenth forums on July 2, 2012 in Aswan titled “Civil Society regions and provinces between poor performance and lack of diversity and specialization.”

6. Eleventh and twelfth forums on July 5, 2012 Luxor Governorate, titled “Civil Society regions and provinces between poor performance and lack of diversity and specialization.”

 7. Thirteenth and fourteenth forums on July 8, 2012 in Qena titled “Civil Society regions and provinces between poor performance and lack of diversity and specialization.”
